Where does the agent get shipment data from?
From the sources you already have: shipping documents, carrier and broker updates, and temperature readings where a sensor-provider integration exists. The agent brings these into one place and links them to operational impact, instead of you chasing multiple parties.
Does the agent only cover international shipments?
No. A local delay between a supplier's warehouse and your branch has the same effect on availability and service level. The agent tracks any shipment with an expected arrival date, local or imported.
Does it contact the carrier or broker on our behalf?
The agent starts with read-only access by default. Drafting escalation or follow-up messages can be enabled within permissions and approval paths your company defines, and nothing is sent without explicit approval.
